We are super pleased to announce ‘Transmat Gets Physical’ day time party at WesterUnie Amsterdam, in Netherlands on Sunday 18th of October 2015 during ADE 2015 weekend in Amsterdam.
Two labels, from two cities, each with their own sound and enormous cultural impact on the techno scene come together to rejoice and celebrate the bond that spans between two continents.Transmat, a label founded by one of the most influential techno artists – Derrick May – in the birthplace of techno, Detroit. A label that would fuel the techno and house revolution for decades to come and lay the foundation of modern electronic music heard today. And Get Physical Music, started in the early 2000’s in the modern home of techno, Berlin. The two labels share not only a burning passion for music, but each come from hugely significant cultural hotspots for techno music.
Derrick May, M.A.N.D.Y. , Juan Atkins alongside the ADE premiere of the WhoMadeWho DJ Team will be headlining this monumental occasion while local Dimitri, Deep’a & Biri, Eagles & Butterflies, System Of Survival and Azimute will join them behind the decks. Be sure to get your tickets in advance to secure your part on this very special day in Amsterdam.
Unfortunately, the council did not give us any license to organize an outdoor day time event at DOK in Amsterdam on Saturday 17th of October. But we have searched very hard and we have now relocated the party at WesterUnie in Amsterdam on Sunday 18th of October for 14 hours non stop from midday till 4am and add a second room hosting Voltage Musique Showcase & Click.

DJ’s Can’t Cook
DJs Can’t Cook is a web series offering music fans, foodies and the culturally hip a new side of DJs and a discovery of underground chefs and restaurants. The focus on the show not only lies in cooking, but also on the participans.
A talk show disguised as a cooking show with conversations on topics enjoyed by DJ and chef, as much as on recipes and music facts.
As “DJs Can’t Cook ABROAD”, the Berlin located company concentrates on documentary based concepts for festivals and events.
At ADE DJs Can’tCook collaborates with Get Physical for their Transmat Gets Physical event to involve entertaining food in a day/night of outstanding music.

Many of the artists in the Voltage Musique family have performed at a lot of different events during all the past Amsterdam Dance Events. This year we will be part of the happenings as a label for the first time, celebrating the 20th anniversary of ADE with our own Voltage Musique Showcase.
Since the first release in 2003, Voltage Musique has actively contributed to the development of electronic music, and with over 70 strong releases they have acquired an international standing.
